AKP is worried! The YRP effect in metropolitan cities, provinces, and districts

With 16 days left until the local elections, political backrooms have picked up the pace. The idea that the New Welfare Party (YRP) will pose difficulties for the AKP and the People's Alliance candidates in many cities across Anatolia, especially in Istanbul, has begun to take hold.

Turkey will enter a period without elections for 4.5 years in 16 days. However, the hot agenda of politics continues to show its effect.

Gazete Pencere columnist Nuray Babacan wrote in her column today that the YRP is of close concern to the AKP, while the DEM Party is of close concern to the CHP.

Babacan stated the following in her column:

"In the analyses made in the backrooms, surprise results regarding some provinces are being discussed. Three effects are being mentioned; 'the YRP, DEM, and wrong candidate effect.' The YRP effect concerns the AKP more closely, while the DEM effect concerns the CHP more closely.

"ŞANLIURFA, ORDU AND BURSA..."

At political tables, provinces that could have different results for the AKP are being discussed. For example, Şanlıurfa, Ordu, and Bursa. Beyond the possibility of losing the election, a loss of votes is also expected. AKP members are hopeful about Hatay and Antalya.

It is being discussed that the AKP will win the election in Trabzon and the CHP in Mersin by increasing their votes. A different situation is also occurring in Kırıkkale. There are those who claim that the fact that the CHP candidate is a popular figure could create a surprise.

YRP EFFECT IS EVERYWHERE

The effect of the YRP is being talked about more than the effect of the CHP. They are having difficulty reading Adana. In this province, where the CHP and AKP are running neck and neck, the YRP's votes seem likely to reduce the AKP's chances. The New Welfare Party will affect the vote results of the People's Alliance in Bingöl, Yozgat, Muş, and Elazığ, just as it will in Balıkesir, Bursa, Şanlıurfa, and their districts.

ISTANBUL AND ANKARA DISTRICTS

It is stated that there could be trouble due to the YRP in districts in Ankara currently governed by the People's Alliance, such as Mamak, Etimesgut, Haymana, and Gölbaşı. It is analyzed that the same negative effect could also occur in districts in Istanbul such as Bahçelievler, Sancaktepe, Silivri, Çatalca, and Eyüp."
