The AKP has launched a Human Rights Education Program. The training program, which is expected to be opened by President Erdoğan, will be held today at the party headquarters.
The training sessions were shaped within the framework of reports prepared by the Human Rights Presidency, including "The victory of the national will and the rolling back of bureaucratic tutelage," "The transformation of the media from tutelage to polyphony," "Democratization of education and equal opportunity," "Israel's human rights violations," "The new constitution in terms of the preparation and participation process," "The migrant issue in Europe," and a report prepared in English titled "Islamophobia in the European Union."
The AKP Human Rights Presidency stated, "The interest shown in our program has been clearly demonstrated by the intense number of applications from all segments of society. Over a thousand applications reveal the great interest of individuals from various professional groups, as well as women, youth, and the elderly, in the subject of human rights and their search for knowledge in this field."
