Comment on Murat Çalık from AKP mayor: 'My hope is for his release'

AKP Fatih Mayor Ergün Turan stated that imprisoned Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, whose health condition is critical, should be released.

Turan made a call regarding the imprisoned Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık during his speech.

Speaking in the assembly, Turan emphasized that Çalık, who is at risk of lymphoma cancer, should be released under house arrest.

Regarding Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who was hospitalized while in prison and whose health condition is at a critical level, AKP's Ergün Turan said the following:

“I personally am someone who likes our Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık. My hope is for his release with a house arrest decision. I wish him a speedy recovery.”
