Harsh words from AKP's Birinci to Türkeş and Selvi: 'Keep them screeching'
A harsh response has come from AKP member Mücahit Birinci, whom AKP Ankara MP Tuğrul Türkeş had associated with FETÖ. In a social media post, Birinci also used the term 'influence agent' for Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi.

Articles by Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi, known for his proximity to the government, regarding the Gezi Park Trial and the imprisonment of Osman Kavala, have caused tension within the AKP.
In the dispute between Abdulkadir Selvi, Mücahit Birinci, and Tuğrul Türkeş, Birinci targeted Selvi and Türkeş with harsh words.

Responding to a question from Sözcü newspaper's İsmail Saymaz, "Should Osman Kavala be released for Turkey's benefit?", Türkeş stated, "Whether he is released or not; that is not my job, it is the job of legal experts," while targeting AKP member Mücahit Birinci and his father, Yavuz Bahadıroğlu. "My objection is to the legal expert (referring to Mücahit Birinci) who expresses an opinion without reading the petition (submitted by Kavala's lawyers), and even worse, to those who are not legal experts," he said, and continued his statement by saying the following:
"I don't know who he belongs to. I mean, is he a FETÖ member, is he an AK Party member... He says 'I am an AK Party member.' You dig into his father (referring to Yavuz Bahadıroğlu). FETÖ comes out. If you want, write this sentence specifically. His father changed his name. He is trying to make people forget his FETÖ ties. He himself is looking for someone more pro-American than himself."

Following Türkeş's remarks that created an agenda, a very harsh response came from AKP's Mücahit Birinci.
In a statement on his social media account, where he also tagged Türkeş and Selvi, Birinci said, "We have found their nerve; they will screech as we press. Don't worry, they will all be exposed one by one. Keep them screeching without paying them any mind."

“Look, I am saying this clearly and plainly: Whoever is pursuing this Kavala-Gezi business, their strings are in the West. Regardless of party, they settle everywhere, they do business everywhere. They appear here today, and tomorrow they go to another party, to other channels. The place they go to is not important; what is important is whose mouth they are speaking with. We have found their nerve; they will screech as we press. Don't worry, they will all be exposed one by one. From the biggest to the smallest, the result is the same. The bigger their ‘HEADS’ are, the bigger the leash the US/EU puts on them and drags them from door to door. FETÖ and such are one level below them. These influence agents are useless types who possess a potential for hypocrisy above that of FETÖ. Keep them screeching without paying them any mind.”
