AKP's Tayyar evaluates Ayşe Ateş's visit, makes a call to Bahçeli

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Ülkü Ocakları Chairman Sinan Ateş, who was murdered in Ankara.

The reception at the Presidential Complex was held behind closed doors. Ayşe Ateş's daughters, Bengisu and Banuçiçek, were also present at the meeting.

EVALUATION FROM ŞAMİL TAYYAR

AKP's Tayyar made an evaluation regarding the visit made by Ayşe Ateş. Touching upon the visits Ateş has made to political party leaders, Şamil Tayyar also made a call to MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli.

Tayyar stated that Bahçeli should accept Ayşe Ateş.

"After leaving the CHP Headquarters, our President Mr. Erdoğan received Ayşe Ateş at the complex.

Ayşe Ateş, the wife of former Ülkü Ocakları Chairman Sinan Ateş, who was murdered in Ankara, has been visiting leaders for some time, seeking support for the illumination of all aspects of the murder.

It is an extremely reasonable, legitimate, justified, and humanitarian request.

In this context, I attach importance to the reception at the complex.

I hope that MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli will also receive Ms. Ayşe and listen to her concerns.

I am of the opinion that there is no reason to prevent such a meeting.

Bahçeli is a man of conscience and compassion; he possesses enough discernment not to protect those involved in wrongdoing, even if they are in his closest circle.

Bahçeli, who has no objection to Ms. Ayşe meeting with our President and only says 'let not discord be fueled,' would catch the centers of discord inside and outside off guard with such a meeting.

Because, a lack of dialogue fuels discord even more."
