The entirety of Tayyar's aforementioned post is as follows:
"The transition of Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who resigned from the CHP, to the AK Party has been shelved for now.
In the words of a party friend of ours, Özarslan has been placed in political quarantine.
As far as I can see, the allegations against him and the prosecutor's investigation will be followed, consultations will be held with the organization, and if the final assessment is positive, then the possibility of a transition can be discussed.
A correct stance.
Despite irresponsible intermediaries, this sensitivity shown by our President is very valuable.
May it lead to good things, God willing."
