AKP MP Ensarioğlu: My statements were not directed at the Foreign Minister personally
Environment Commission Chairman and AKP Diyarbakır MP Mehmet Galip Ensarioğlu stated, "My thoughts and statements are clear and precise. My aforementioned remarks were intended to firmly reiterate that within our party policies, no one can express a contradictory will outside of our President's authority, and that such a thing is not possible in the AK Party. They were not directed at the Foreign Minister personally."

Ensarioğlu issued a written statementregarding aninterview hegaveto a broadcasting organization. Ensarioğlu noted the following:
"Regarding an interview I gave to a foreignbroadcaster concerning the process of a terror-free Turkey and the work of the ParliamentaryCommission, myIn the interview, at the end of my assessment regarding the process,in response to the host's persistent questions about Syria policy, regarding whether there were contradictionsbetween the policies of our President and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, I replied thatsuch a thing would nothappen.
At the end of my remarks, I emphasized the policies of our party and our governmentthat the will determining the party's direction is that of our President, and that anyone who expresses a will contrary to this must eitherresign from theirposition, or beremoved from theirposition. Although the purpose and intent of my statement were quite clear, for three days, out ofcontext and intent, some malicious circles have beenon various social media platforms distorting and interpreting them with sadnessI observed.
