AKP Spokesperson Çelik condemns violence against pregnant woman
AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik has condemned the violence against a pregnant woman who was beaten by her husband in the middle of the street in the Akhisar district of Manisa.

In a statement on his social media account, Çelik said the following:
"We condemn the violence against a pregnant mother who was beaten by her husband in the middle of the street in the Akhisar district of Manisa. Violence against women is a legal crime and is morally inhumane.
The situation of those who watch while there is an opportunity to prevent this violence is also dire.
Violence against women is inhumane and a threat to all of humanity.
As a society, we must wage a multi-dimensional struggle against violence against women. At this point, we must express our cultural and moral sensitivities even more strongly and condemn violence against women in every area of daily life."
