AKP Spokesperson Çelik issues 'strong condemnation' of Özgür Özel

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made the following statement on social media: We strongly condemn the vulgar remarks made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel toward our President.

What Özgür Özel is doing is not politics. He has become a focal point that poisons politics.

Özgür Özel is in a state of helpless drift in the face of the situation his party has fallen into. For this reason, he produces political aggression and a politics of lies every day. We will respond to this low-level politics with all our political strength. Protecting the legal rights of our President is one of the most fundamental values of our politics. We will not allow any attacks or politics of lies to pass.

One must act in accordance with political decorum when speaking about our President.

We will never refrain from putting those who do not act accordingly in their place on the political stage.
