AKP's Tayyar criticizes his party over poll results: 'CHP is breathing down their necks'

Bringing a survey conducted by ASAL Research to the agenda, Şamil Tayyar stated that according to the survey results, Turkey's biggest problem is the cost of living at 65.3 percent, and pointed out that there are many lessons for political parties to learn from the answers given by the participants in the research.

What is truly dangerous is the 'none' option. If political parties cease to be the address for solutions, guardianship centers gain strength or new political quests begin. The establishment of new parties is a democratic process and not much of a problem, but the strengthening of guardianship centers is a serious threat to the democratic regime.

Bringing the 'restructuring' debate in the AKP to the agenda, Tayyar criticized his party by saying, "Everything is tied to the success of Mehmet Şimşek."

MEHMET METİNER ALSO CRITICIZED

Stating that the AKP administration is resisting the demand for change, Şamil Tayyar said that the election defeat was attributed to the negatives in the economy. Mehmet Metiner, on the other hand, stated that the right result cannot be achieved with the wrong method.

Criticisms regarding the 'restructuring' method determined at the AKP's Kızılcıhamam camp continue. After former deputy Şamil Tayyar, Mehmet Metiner also harshly criticized the 'bottom-up restructuring' method.

Metiner said in a post on social media, "The right result does not come from the wrong method. If the solution to the problem is referred to those responsible, the result will be destruction due to similar reasons. If the problem is not at the bottom, the solution must start from the top. Going down before going up only ensures that the problem continues by changing its guise."

Stating that the 'restructuring' strategy determined at the camp was wrong, Şamil Tayyar said, "However, the restructuring should have been top-down. It would be a mistake to start with those who have relatively less influence on decisions without holding the primary culprits of the experienced negatives accountable. Especially if the perpetrator/perpetrators are going to carry out the process..."

'DEFEAT ATTRIBUTED TO ECONOMIC NEGATIVES'

Pointing out that the AKP administration is resisting the demand for change, Tayyar made the following assessment: "Many of my followers, many friends who reach out to us, ask why the AK Party is resisting the demand for change. Believe me, I don't know. My opinion is that the error in diagnosis renders the prescription invalid.

Perhaps because the election defeat is attributed only to the negatives in the economy, the thought that 'the economy will improve in 2 years, we will win the next election without any problems' may be the main reason for the delay.
