AKP is planning to meet with the New Welfare Party and the Great Unity Party (BBP) this week to discuss cooperation in the local elections. Within the scope of the strategic cooperation determined for the Local Administration Elections to be held under the People's Alliance, the work between the AKP and MHP has been completed.
In this context, the AKP met with the BBP delegation on December 14. Furthermore, the meetings between the AKP and the New Welfare Party, which were held at the level of party leaders, are planned to be held at the delegation level this week.
Depending on the results of the meetings, the decision on whether the New Welfare Party will field candidates in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir will be clarified. In the meeting to be held with the BBP delegation, the status of cooperation in provinces, primarily in metropolitan cities, will be determined. The BBP will determine its candidate strategy as a result of this assessment.
