In the March 31 local elections held in the Aksu district of Isparta, AKP mayoral candidate Veli Kahraman won the election by defeating his CHP rival Mehmet Çetin by a 1-vote margin.
Following the count in the Aksu district, Veli Kahraman secured victory with 516 votes against Mehmet Çetin's 515 votes.
