AKP's strategic plan revealed: New transfers expected!

It has been stated that the AKP is attempting to shake the voters' belief and trust in the opposition by transferring members of parliament in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). It has been suggested that in addition to some independent deputies, names preparing to leave the DEVA Party and the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) may also join the AKP.

Since the general elections on May 14, 2023, 31 members of parliament, including those who were expelled, have left their parties. While only Saffet Sancaklı returned to his party among these deputies, 15 members of parliament headed to other parties.

It has been alleged that some of the remaining 15 independent members of parliament will join the AKP.

As reported by Gazete Duvar, it has been suggested that some DEVA Party and Future Party deputies may also resign and join the AKP.

“AKP IS TRYING TO SHAKE THE VOTERS' BELIEF IN THE OPPOSITION”

According to representatives of opposition parties, the AKP is planning this “transfer process” strategically and is deliberately spreading it out over time. A party official says, “The AKP is trying to shake the voters' belief and trust in the opposition by taking deputies one by one. We will continue to see these in the coming days.”
