“The noble Turkish nation, which knows independence as its character, seals freedom into its nature, and always demonstrates its power through the national will, has never bowed down to any attempt that has threatened its existence and unity throughout history.
Indeed, the night of July 15 has gone down in history as an epic struggle in which our nation once again declared this determination to the whole world and reclaimed its state from the streets.
On the anniversary of the treacherous July 15 coup attempt, I commemorate our dear martyrs with mercy and our veterans with gratitude.
