The fire occurred in the chimney of a restaurant located on the food court floor of a shopping mall in Pendik. According to the information obtained, a fire started in the restaurant's chimney at the mall. Due to the fire, which grew in a short time, dense smoke formed in the restaurant area. Upon the reports of citizens, health, police, and firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene.
While the firefighting teams intervened in the fire, police teams evacuated the citizens inside the mall. The firefighting teams extinguished the fire in a short time.
