Alarming statement from Naci Görür regarding the Bolu earthquake

Naci Görür, who frequently shares posts about earthquakes occurring in different parts of Turkey and provides reminders on important issues, has this time made a post regarding the 4.5-magnitude earthquake that took place in Bolu.

Pointing out that there should not be an active fault line in the region based on examinations, Görür alarmed his followers by saying, "But it seems to me that there is a fault here, roughly parallel to the NAF."

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that a 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the center of Bolu at around 17:07.

Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made statements on his X account regarding the earthquake, which was reported to have a depth of 7.28 km.

In his post, Görür used the following expressions:

"Friends, there was a 4.5 earthquake in Bolu. There is no fault on the MTA active fault map, but it seems to me that there is a fault here, roughly parallel to the NAF. Of course, it is in the NAF zone, with love."
