Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a visit to Anıtkabir.
Rama, who came to Turkey for an official visit, visited Anıtkabir with his accompanying delegation.
Walking along the Lion Road to the mausoleum of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Rama laid a wreath and observed a moment of silence.
Rama signed the Anıtkabir Special Book.
Rama wrote the following in the book:
"In his name, we find the roots of the modern Turkish state, and in his legacy, we remember the great leader who colored the identity of Turkish society. The enduring presence of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk demonstrates an inclusivity, peace, and progress that is hard to find even today.
His intelligence led him to realize the importance of the emancipation of women. His love for his nation led him to embrace progress and literacy, and to support economic reforms that prove his passion for development and his valuable vision.
Here, in the sacred space of Atatürk's eternal resting place, we celebrate his vision of a modern Turkey achieved through unexpected paths such as love and peace."
