DEVA Party leader Ali Babacan has reacted to the messages sent by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who resigned from the CHP. Stating, "I am ashamed to watch this," Babacan said, "They say everything imaginable behind the back of a mayor they presented to the nation. The level of politics should not fall this low."

Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who resigned from the CHP, has become the most talked-about name in politics in recent days. Özarslan, who is alleged to be joining the AKP, leaked the messages sent to him by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and filed a criminal complaint against Özel.

As the tension between the CHP and Özarslan continues, DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan has also joined the debate.

"THERE IS NO INSULT THEY DON'T USE FOR THOSE WHO MOVE TO OTHER PARTIES"

Speaking at the Yeni Yol Group meeting, Babacan said, "They are quite comfortable while brazenly pinning badges on deputies from parties they were in an alliance with yesterday; but there is no insult they don't use for those who move from their own party to others."
