CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır announced that they had headed to their bus to arrive at the statement they were going to make in front of RTÜK, but that the police took the ignition key of their vehicle and prevented them from boarding their party bus.

Başarır stated, "We did not bring our party vehicle here while coming here. A police officer took the ignition key. He gave it to someone else. The CHP's campaign bus has been hijacked."

Başarır also announced this development on his social media account with the following post:

Friends, we are used to you stealing, but even we are surprised by this much!

Does a person steal a bus?

Enough is enough!

Before the statement we will make in front of RTÜK at 20:30, the police, with an unlawful order, are trying to block the party bus of Turkey's leading party!

You are writing the history of lawlessness and illegality!
