Ali Yerlikaya announces: 'Çember' operations continue!
A total of 4,244 individuals were apprehended in the 'Çember-24' operations conducted nationwide against persons with outstanding arrest warrants for prison sentences.

In the Çember-24 operations conducted across 81 provinces over the last week, 4,244 suspects were apprehended.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on the X platform that special teams have been established to capture criminals, and that crime rates decrease as those wanted are apprehended.
As a result of the Çember-24 operations:
4,158 suspects wanted for 0-5 years,
31 suspects wanted for 5-10 years,
55 suspects wanted for 10 years or more were apprehended.
Of these:
689 for theft,
374 for fraud,
151 for robbery,
62 for intentional homicide,
125 for sexual offenses,
717 for narcotics offenses,
73 for terror offenses,
474 for smuggling and organized crime,
216 for cybercrimes, and
1,363 for other crimes, totaling 4,244 suspects apprehended.
Yerlikaya stated that they will not allow anyone to disturb the peace of the public or cause unease on our streets.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya concluded his statement by saying, "I congratulate our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and our heroic Police and Gendarmerie who carried out these operations."
