Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that an operation has been conducted against those who praise the terrorist organization, engage in propaganda, and spread misleading information on social media.
In a post on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that 60 account administrators and users have been identified, noting that 53 of them are abroad and that legal proceedings have been initiated against them.
Yerlikaya said, "Within the scope of the work carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Counter-Terrorism and Cybercrime Departments, 4 out of 7 identified suspects have been apprehended in operations, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining 3 suspects."
