In Istanbul's Şişli district, 49-year-old engineer Fatih Aksin allegedly returned home covered in blood after suffering a blow to the head while outside. Aksin, who lived alone, called his friends to his home for help. Aksin passed away hours later in the presence of the friends who had come to assist him. Police teams have begun investigating where Aksin went during the hour he spent outside and what happened to him. The obtained security camera footage is expected to solve the incident.

The incident occurred around 22:00 on Prof. Dr. Orhan Ersek Street in the Teşvikiye neighborhood of Şişli.
According to allegations, Engineer Fatih Aksin, who lived alone on the second floor of a 3-story building, suffered a blow to his head outside for reasons yet unknown. Returning home covered in blood, Aksin sent a message to two of his friends asking for help. It is alleged that his friends, who arrived at his home, saw that Aksin had a blow to his head and was bleeding.
DIED AT HOME
Engineer Fatih Aksin lost his life covered in blood at his home as a result of the blow to his head. Aksin became unresponsive hours later. Noticing the situation, his friends reported the incident to police and medical teams. Upon arriving at the scene, medical teams determined that Fatih Aksin had passed away.
HE SAID "I AM FINE"
In the information they provided to police teams, the two friends who came to help said, "We don't know what happened to our friend. When we went to the house, we wanted to take him to the doctor. He told us, 'I am fine.' He was fine. Then he took a turn for the worse. We immediately notified the medical teams." Following their statements, the two friends were released.
THE ENGINEER'S HOUR OUTSIDE UNDER INVESTIGATION
Crime scene investigation teams and the Public Prosecutor conducted examinations at the house for a long time.
Following the examinations, the unfortunate man's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue.
The Şişli District Police Department teams have launched an investigation into the incident. During the investigation, it was determined that Fatih Aksin went out at 14:10 on the day of the incident and returned home an hour later at 15:10. The one-hour time frame that Engineer Aksin spent outside has been placed under scrutiny. Security camera recordings are being examined to determine where Aksin went and who he met during this time. Whether Aksin died as a result of a blow to the head or a fall will be clarified following the work to be carried out.
