Allegations emerge that Kerem Ökten, who was presented as an ITU Meteorological Engineering graduate, holds a fake diploma

A 'fake diploma' warning has been issued for Kerem Ökten, who has been presented as an "Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Meteorological Engineering graduate" on internet pages containing information about him to date.

"I ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE NO SUCH GRADUATE"

Mikdat Kadıoğlu, Head of the ITU Meteorological Engineering Department, stated in a post on his social media account regarding the matter: "As the Head of the ITU Meteorological Engineering Department, I respectfully announce to the public that we have no such graduate. We are filing a criminal complaint regarding this fake diploma incident."

ÖKTEN DENIES THE ALLEGATIONS

Making a statement regarding the fake diploma allegations, Ökten said, "These newspapers have lost their minds. They are going to make me lose mine too. I have said it since I opened this account. I am not a meteorology graduate like Hava Forum. The Havaforum admin is a law graduate, Aytaç Çomoğlu, and I am a master's graduate in Accounting and Auditing. As a Russian woman said, how many times do you have to say no to a Turkish man before they understand? I will set a number of 'no's accordingly."
