Allegations that CHP municipalities are pressuring their leader over 'SGK debt': Will Özel meet with Erdoğan?

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir spoke about the claim in question.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, while recalling this debt at the opening of the new airport in Adana, said, "If you want to be of benefit to retirees, give instructions for your municipalities to pay their accumulated debts to the Social Security Institution.
Currently, our Ministry of Treasury and Finance will begin collecting these debts at the source regarding the municipalities' debts.

ALLEGATION OF SGK PRESSURE FROM CHP MUNICIPALITIES ON ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
Finally, it was alleged that mayors were pressuring CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to restructure the municipalities' SGK debts.
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir stated at a closed meeting he held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) that he did not know whether there was such a request or suggestion.
Emir said, "Debts should be restructured and collected for the purpose of debt collection, not for the purpose of punishment in this way.
As of now, there is no plan, initiative, or effort by our Chairman to meet with the President," he said.
