Altınok's long-awaited asset disclosure arrives: Inherited from father...

AK Party Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Turgut Altınok has made the expected announcement. Altınok disclosed his assets on his social media account today. Altınok, who was seen to own numerous plots of land, fields, and houses, stated in his announcement, "All the assets I have presented in the attachment are as pure and lawful as mother's milk."

CHP Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş had previously made headlines after disclosing his assets and responding to a question on the matter by saying, "The property is not ours, it is God's; it all belongs to God, we are just trustees," and claiming, "My assets have decreased since I became mayor." Now, AK Party Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Turgut Altınok has made the expected announcement.

My Dear Fellow Citizens!

A Mayor must first and foremost be transparent! They must be consistent and HONEST! A Mayor must have a stance and should not be found on one side one day and the other side the next! Unfortunately, I have felt that artificial agendas have been created over my assets for some time, attempting to cover up the services and works we will bring to our Capital; that there is an effort to overshadow our projects, and most importantly, that they have hurt YOU, MY VALUABLE FELLOW CITIZENS OF ANKARA, so the time has come to disclose my assets.

Dear People of Ankara!

Do not have the slightest hesitation! All the assets I have presented in the attachment are AS PURE AND LAWFUL AS MOTHER'S MILK...
