Anahtar Party holds its first Presidential Council meeting

The first Presidential Council meeting of the Anahtar Party has been held.

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu, who submitted the party's founding petition to the Ministry of Interior on October 28 and was elected chairman by the founders' board, visited the Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque with fellow party members following a visit to Anıtkabir.

Ağıralioğlu and the members of the Presidential Council offered prayers at the tomb there.

Subsequently, Ağıralioğlu and the party members moved to a hotel, where they held the party's first Presidential Council meeting.

Making statements after the meeting, Ağıralioğlu said that the party held its first council meeting with a staff capable of solving Turkey's problems and that the country is not without alternatives.

Stating that they are preparing for the future of Turkish politics as the key to the country's locked problems, Ağıralioğlu said, "Our nation should not worry; there is no problem without a solution."

Yavuz Ağıralioğlu noted that the Turkish nation is going through times when it is about to be besieged, that the threat of terrorism is felt at the borders, and that they see a political ambition that violates NATO's legal framework rising to a level that will increase security concerns at the borders.

Expressing that they support the state's sensitivity toward terrorism, Ağıralioğlu emphasized that no tolerance should be shown to terrorism and terrorists.

Noting that while fighting terrorism, the government's foundation must be the national will, Ağıralioğlu stated, "Prevent people who have been with terrorists from becoming partners in the administration of Turkey through municipalities, but while doing so, manage it with care so as not to punish the will of the voters, so that the nation's commitment to its state and people strengthens."
