Another attack on police: Commissioner stabbed
In Samsun, an assailant who attacked police officers with a knife and injured a commissioner was neutralized after being shot in the leg.

The incident occurred in the Yaşardoğu neighborhood of Samsun's Kavak district. Police teams responding to a report of an armed fight were conducting an investigation at the scene when they received information that T.K. (32), who allegedly has a criminal record for drug use, was using drugs in the attic of the house where the incident took place.
Upon entering the suspect's home, the police were attacked by T.K., who had broken the room's door and window glass. T.K. threw the broken glass at the officers and then attempted to escape by jumping out of a window.
When the police caught up with him, T.K. attacked them with a knife, slightly injuring Commissioner M.D. in both legs. T.K., who was neutralized by being shot in the leg by the police, was taken to Kavak State Hospital by ambulance.
After receiving initial treatment, T.K. was transferred to Samsun Training and Research Hospital. T.K. is currently under treatment at the hospital in Samsun, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
