The suspect, who fled on the motorcycle, fired at the neighborhood watchmen who blocked his path and moved away from the area. Later, abandoning the motorcycle on a street and continuing to flee on foot, İzzettin Taş was caught following a police pursuit.
The investigation revealed that after speaking with his son-in-law on the phone, Salih K. had left the house to take his daughter to a relative's place. After his procedures were completed, İzzettin Taş was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court.
