In a post on his social media account, he stated that the exam was won by a person 'whose father was a jury member.' Stating that they have appealed the exam results, Göktepeliler expressed that their appeal would likely be fruitless because the jury president holds an important position at the general directorate.

Another incident has been added to the irregularities in state institutions that occasionally surface in the media. Musician Ömer Göktepeliler explained the irregularities he encountered in a post on his social media account, stating that he took the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's exam but was not accepted.

Stating that he was not even placed on the reserve list, Göktepeliler claimed that the exam in question was won by 'a person whose father was a jury member.' Göktepeliler, who said that the jury president and other jury members also made efforts for the person whose father they knew closely to win the exam, said, "During the 9-month period from the announcement of this exam to the day the results were announced, the person we said 'they opened this position for so-and-so's son' won. Even if you were the inventor of these instruments, you had no chance in this exam."

The musician, who said that the daughter of another jury member and the brother-in-law of yet another jury member won the exam, said, "We submitted our appeal. We don't expect anything from our appeal anyway. We submitted our appeal to the general directorate. Lo and behold, the person who is the jury president is also the holder of an important position at the general directorate. Now, where did we submit our appeal?" he said.

Göktepeliler continued to describe the irregularities he experienced as follows:

"It is a system they developed themselves that would not look out of place in a comedy film. The jury member whose relative is entering the room leaves. They walk around the corridors laughing. They expect you to be convinced or something. Your son or daughter could win this exam if and only if you were not a jury member in this exam in any way; that would have been ethical. Could they have participated in this exam if you weren't there? I recommend this to the father of the person who was made to win the exam. Please get your son's exam video from the jury president and watch it."
