Another femicide
In the Yenişehir district of Bursa, a young woman lost her life after being stabbed by her husband during an argument.

Y.A. (24), who resided on Tuna Street in the Yılmazlar neighborhood of the Yenişehir district, began arguing with his wife, Petek A. (24), with whom he had been having problems for some time. As the argument escalated, Y.A. slit his wife's throat with a knife. Upon the notification of neighbors who heard the commotion, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams arriving at the scene determined that Petek A. had lost her life. Y.A. was taken into custody by police teams. Following the investigation at the scene, Petek A.'s body was taken to the morgue of Yenişehir State Hospital.
