Following the overturning of a passenger bus in the Gürün district of Sivas, 2 people had lost their lives at the time of the incident.
The passenger bus belonging to Van Gölü Turizm, which was traveling from Istanbul to Van, overturned in the Yazyurdu area on the Pınarbaşı-Gürün highway.
Upon notification, health, fire, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
The teams rescued the trapped passengers by breaking the bus windows.
According to the latest information, the death toll has risen to 7, while 40 injured people have been taken to surrounding hospitals.
In a passenger bus accident in Şanlıurfa 2 days ago, 2 people had also died and 25 people were injured.
