The students, who were taken under treatment on suspicion of food poisoning, are reported to be in good health.

STUDENTS FELL ILL SHORTLY AFTER

Students attending a private high school in Gebze began to feel unwell shortly after consuming chicken products they purchased from the school cafeteria. The students, experiencing nausea, vomiting, and dizziness, reported the situation to their teachers.

14 STUDENTS TRANSFERRED TO HOSPITAL

Following a report made by the school administration, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention, 14 students were taken to various hospitals in Gebze. According to information received from the hospital, the students' health status is stable, and it was announced that they are being kept under observation as a precaution.

Following the incident, teams from the Gebze Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock took samples of the chicken from the school cafeteria and began an investigation. Officials stated that the exact cause of the incident will be clarified following laboratory results.
