Another resignation in İYİ Party

İYİ Party Provincial Chair Erdal Gülay announced his resignation today during a press conference held at the party headquarters alongside board members.

Gülay included the following statements in his announcement:

“At the point we have reached, I see that our party is losing strength due to resignations with each passing day.

We are unable to build upon the work of our organizations and board colleagues.

I would like to express my endless gratitude to my fellow İYİ Party members who voted for me and to my board colleagues during this process.

As of today, I am ending my tenure as İYİ Party provincial chair. I am resigning.

In the period ahead, we will properly hand over the duties to the provincial chair to be appointed by our headquarters.”
