The following statements were included in Devlet Bahçeli's post:
"I congratulate our dear children and all the children of the world, to whom this day is dedicated, on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
I commemorate with mercy the heroic generations who enabled our life and existence in the Republic of Turkey, our dear martyrs, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who entrusted us with this sacred Parliament, the esteemed members of the first Parliament, and all the deputies who have passed into eternity.
With these thoughts, I celebrate the 105th anniversary of the opening of our Gazi Parliament with feelings of pride, and I wish my dear nation well-being and years full of peace."
