A series of WhatsApp messages and conversation records have emerged in the case file where Seçil Erzan and her associates are being tried for allegedly collecting 44 million dollars from over 20 people, including many Galatasaray football players, under the name of the "Fatih Terim Fund."
According to the report by Dinçer Gökçe from Halk TV, the conversation in question took place between Arda Turan and Seçil Erzan. According to the 12-page transcript, the conversation was recorded by Turan and submitted to the investigation file. The record also reveals that Turan is the person who lost the most money to the system, which was operated as a type of Ponzi scheme.
Accordingly, Turan first gave 3 million dollars to Erzan in cash. In return for this money, Turan received 1 million dollars in 'interest income' 30-40 days later. Thinking he had made a good profit in a short time, Turan this time borrowed 4 million dollars from his friend, a car dealer named S.K., and gave it to Erzan in cash.

When Erzan's demands for money continued, Turan sold his land in Eyüp Sütlüce for 4 million dollars and gave it to Erzan.
Finally, Turan took out a loan of 33 million TL from the bank where Erzan worked and gave it to her in dollars. Turan's total loss is 7 million 500 thousand dollars.
In the conversation between the two, Turan repeatedly expresses his resentment toward Erzan for defrauding him and his friends. He reacts by saying, "I brought you a world of money. Seçil, my entire fortune was with you. What am I going to do; what will I tell my wife now, Seçil?"
Stating that he only has 20 thousand dollars left, Turan says, "You took the livelihood of our children. I have 20 thousand dollars left now.
I accounted for my debts to you. You know all my debts. I have credit with you," he says. In a WhatsApp message with Erzan, Turan tells her, "I need other conversations and written documents, Seçil." Saying that he cannot even look his child in the face, Turan uses the expressions, "What will I do tomorrow, Seçil? Should I go to a loan shark or factoring..."
Pointing to the situation of Emre Belözoğlu, who is another person who lost the most money to the system with 4.2 million dollars, besides himself, Turan says: "Emre brother gave it with such difficulty. The man has not a single lira left.
The great Emre Belözoğlu... The man gives 4.2 million dollars. The man donated his salary to earthquake victims. I asked you for money, Seçil. 'Give me 100,000 Euros so I can make a donation.' People are mocking me because we donated 500 thousand TL. I begged you to give money so we could help the earthquake region because people are in a difficult situation..."
"DOES FATİH HOCA HAVE ANY RECEIVABLES IN THIS SITUATION?"
Fatih Terim's name is also mentioned several times in the conversation between the two. When Turan asks Erzan, "Is Fatih Hoca in profit in this business?" Erzan replies, "Well Arda, I will tell you something, under normal conditions, the coach was in profit." As the conversation continues, Turan asks, "Does Fatih Hoca have any receivables in this situation?" and Erzan says, "I need to check that."
In the continuation of the conversation, Turan informs Erzan that he, Emre Belözoğlu, Fatih Terim, and himself will go to meet with the bank's senior management, and that Terim will also be among those who have receivables.
On the other hand, Candaş Gürol, the former fiancé of Seçil Erzan, who gave his statement as a witness within the scope of the investigation, said, "When I went to his house, Fatih Terim told me that he also invested money in the fund that Seçil Erzan mentioned.
Along with this, he said that Buse Terim, Terim Arıcan, and Volkan Bahçekapılı also invested money in the same fund at that time. Even though I was the lawyer for this family (Terim Family), none of them mentioned this situation to me. I was hurt by Fatih Hoca for not telling me about this matter," he said.
Among the dozens of people Erzan corresponded with in the file were Fernando Muslera, who lost 500 thousand dollars, and Arda Turan's brother, Okan Turan. It was understood that Okan Turan tried to help Erzan solve the problem in almost every message.
