Argument at taxi stand turns into armed attack: Driver wounded

In the Yenicami neighborhood of Sakarya's Adapazarı district, an argument between two people at a taxi stand around 01:00 at night escalated quickly. As the argument grew, one of the individuals allegedly opened fire on the taxi driver with a handgun they were carrying.
The driver, who was hit by the bullets, was wounded at the scene, while the attacker fled the area rapidly. Following the incident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon reports from bystanders.
The wounded taxi driver, who received initial medical intervention at the scene, was taken to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital for treatment. While no detailed statement has been made yet regarding the driver's health status, the police have launched a large-scale search to apprehend the fleeing attacker.
