Armed attack at a music hall in Sarıyer: 1 dead, 1 injured
Two brothers who went as customers to a music hall in Sarıyer, Istanbul, were subjected to an armed attack at their table. Ömer Danış lost his life, while his brother was injured. The attacker turned out to be the ex-boyfriend of a hostess who had sat at their table.

The incident occurred last night around 02:40 at a music hall located in the Huzur neighborhood of Sarıyer. 30-year-old Ömer Danış and his brother Yunus Danış (21) went to the music hall where the incident took place to have a good time.
GUNNED DOWN AT THE TABLE
After a while, two hostesses named B.S. (37) and E.K. (19) came to the table where the two brothers were sitting. The two brothers began chatting with the two hostesses who had joined them at the table. A short time later, a suspect who approached the table opened fire on the two brothers.
ONE PERSON LOST THEIR LIFE
Ömer Danış, who was seriously injured as a result of the gunfire, lost his life. Yunus Danış was taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene after the incident. Acting immediately after the event, the police solved the murder in a short time.
TURNED OUT TO BE THE HOSTESS'S EX-BOYFRIEND
Investigations revealed that the attack was carried out by a person named Yusuf H. According to the information obtained, the attacker, Yusuf H., was the ex-boyfriend of the hostess named B.S., who had sat at the customers' table. In her statement, B.S. said that she had met Yusuf H. at the music hall and they had seen each other for 2 months, but that she had broken up with him because she did not want to see him anymore due to problems they had experienced.
APPREHENDED
B.S. claimed that despite her not wanting to see him, the suspect had become obsessed with her and frequently harassed her. Following the incident, the address where the suspect had fled was identified. It was determined in a short time that the suspect was hiding in a house in Tuzla. The suspect was apprehended in an operation organized by the Homicide Bureau teams. A weapon, believed to have been used in the incident, was also seized from the person. Multi-faceted investigations into the incident are ongoing.
