A dispute broke out at the Şanlıurfa Intercity Bus Terminal located in the Esentepe neighborhood between two groups who were allegedly already feuding over a debt issue. The dispute escalated into a fight involving knives, clubs, and handguns.
The scene turned into a battlefield as shots were fired indiscriminately, causing panic among passengers.
In the fight, which was intervened in by terminal police, 10 people, including 2 police officers, were injured in various parts of their bodies.
Footage of the fight was captured by security cameras.
While police teams arriving at the scene took extensive security measures in the area, the injured were taken to Mehmet Akif İnan Training and Research Hospital.
It was learned that while one of the injured, Halil Deveci, lost his life, the treatment of the other injured individuals is ongoing.
