Armed fight during TikTok live stream! Influencer arrested, access ban imposed on footage

Arrests have been made following an armed fight between social media influencers in Ankara. While C.Ş. was arrested for "attempted intentional homicide," other suspects were placed under house arrest and issued a travel ban. An access ban has been imposed on the footage related to the incident.

A written statement was issued by the Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the armed fight that broke out between social media influencers in Ankara. According to the statement, an investigation was launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the shooting incident that occurred between Ç.Y., C.Ş., and M.H. in the Sincan district.

The investigation noted that suspects C.Ş. and M.H. were taken into custody on November 16 under the instructions of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, while suspect Ç.Y. was taken into custody on Sunday, November 17, following his discharge from the hospital.

The statement, which announced that an access ban had been imposed on the footage of the incident, included the following information:

"In line with the request of our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in order to protect public order and prevent the commission of crimes, the Ankara West Duty Magistrate Court has issued a decision to block access to the internet broadcasts regarding the moment of the incident in question, pursuant to Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, concerning the violent images and news published on the social media site 'TikTok' during the investigation phase.

Among the suspects taken into custody as part of the investigation, suspect C.Ş., whose statement and other judicial procedures were completed, was arrested by the Ankara West Duty Magistrate Court for the crime of 'attempted intentional homicide,' while judicial control measures of 'house arrest' and a 'travel ban' were imposed on suspects M.H. and Ç.Y."
