Arms smuggling operation in Konya: 225 unlicensed pistols seized

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared information stating that, as a result of efforts coordinated by the General Directorate of Security's Department of Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime and carried out by the Konya Provincial Police Department's KOM Branch, the "Mercek-20" operation was launched against a vehicle identified as transporting pistols obtained from illegal arms workshops operating in Konya to eastern provinces. As a result of the operation, 225 unlicensed pistols were seized and 2 suspects were apprehended.
