Arrest request for Ayşe Tokyaz’s murder suspect on charges of ‘premeditated murder’

Seven people detained in connection with the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz (22), whose body was found in a suitcase by the roadside in Eyüpsultan after she was killed in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district, had been referred to the courthouse.
The suspects' statements at the prosecutor's office have concluded. Former police officer Cemil Koç, who is alleged to have murdered Ayşe Tokyaz, has been referred to the Duty Magistrate Judge on charges of 'premeditated murder,' while the other 6 suspects have been referred for 'aiding and abetting premeditated murder.'
