Arrest warrants issued for 3 lawyers who recorded footage during the Daltonlar trial in Silivri
Arrest warrants have been issued for 3 defense lawyers in connection with an attack on gendarmerie personnel during a hearing for the 'Daltonlar' criminal organization case held at Silivri Prison.

Tensions flared on December 23 at the Silivri Prison No. 1 courtroom during the 'Daltonlar' criminal organization trial, where 363 defendants were being tried, as the verdict was being announced. Some defendants and spectators physically assaulted the on-duty officers and gendarmerie personnel.
DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY IDENTIFIED
It was determined that some public property in the courtroom was damaged during the scuffle. A report was filed by security forces following the incident.
INVESTIGATION BY THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
The Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the incident on charges of "resisting a public official to prevent them from performing their duty" and "damaging public property."
DETENTION ORDERS FOR LAWYERS
Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that some defense lawyers had recorded audio and video without authorization during the hearing. Consequently, detention orders were issued for lawyers T.G., S.K., and K.Y. on charges of "recording audio and video" and "knowingly and willingly aiding an organization without being a member of it."
EFFORTS TO APPREHEND SUSPECTS CONTINUE
It was reported that efforts to apprehend the suspects, for whom detention orders have been issued, are ongoing.
