Arrested for abuse of child athletes
Erkan K., the Acting Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism in Ağrı and President of the Ağrı Amateur Sports Clubs Federation, has been arrested on charges of 'abusing child athletes.'

Journalist Metin Cihan had written on his X account that the director had sexually abused child athletes. Cihan stated that the recordings held by the children, who decided to expose the director, were 'clear enough to leave no room for doubt,' and shared a screenshot of an Instagram message exchange that appeared to belong to the director as evidence.
Shortly after the posts, the Ağrı Governor's Office announced that an investigation had been launched into Erkan K. Erkan K., who was detained in Yozgat yesterday as part of the investigation, was arrested by the duty Magistrate Judge and sent to prison.
