Arrested for insulting the President: Had been released one day earlier
In Samsun, an individual who was released yesterday by the court with judicial control conditions for insulting the President, but was re-detained for failing to delete an insulting post on another social media account, has been arrested by the court.

According to the information obtained, teams from the General Directorate of Security's Cyber Crimes Combat Department determined that A.İ. (25), who resides in the Mevlana neighborhood of Samsun's Atakum district, had shared a post on the social media site X insulting the President.
A.İ., who was detained by teams from the Samsun Police Department's Security Branch, was referred to the Samsun Courthouse yesterday. A.İ., who was referred to the duty court by the prosecutor conducting the investigation with a request for arrest, was released by the court with judicial control conditions, including signing in on Sundays.
As a result of the investigation, it was determined that A.İ. had also insulted the President on his Instagram social media account, but had not deleted this insulting content after being detained and released. Following the prosecutor's instructions, A.İ. was re-detained by Security Branch teams and referred to the Samsun Courthouse again today.
A.İ., who was referred to the court by the prosecutor for arrest, was arrested by the judge and sent to the Samsun T-Type Closed Prison.
