Arrests made in fight that led to police officer's death at TÜVTÜRK

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a fight at a vehicle inspection station in Ankara that resulted in the death of police officer Melih Okan Keskin.

Police officer Melih Okan Keskin, who was injured after an argument turned into a fight at a vehicle inspection station in Ankara on February 2, lost his life in the hospital despite all medical interventions.

M.Y. and S.A., who were taken into custody regarding the incident, have been arrested by the court to which they were referred.

In a statement issued by the General Directorate of Security, it was stated, "We wish God's mercy upon our colleague and extend our condolences to his relatives and our entire organization.

As a result of this tragic incident, individuals named M.Y. and S.A., who are employees of the vehicle inspection station, have been arrested by judicial authorities.

A police chief inspector has been assigned by our General Directorate of Security to investigate all aspects of the incident. As the General Directorate of Security, we declare that we will follow the judicial and administrative processes regarding this heinous attack carried out against our colleague."
