According to allegations, an individual named Muhammet F.G. argued with imam Dursun Kuru on the grounds that he did not intervene with a person praying in shorts at the mosque. After the argument, the individual left the mosque and returned a short while later with his bow. Seeing imam Dursun Kuru exiting after the prayer, Muhammet F.G. wounded the imam with an arrow.
