Artillery shell found in father's house after son's report: Believed to date back to World War I

An artillery shell, believed to date back to the World War I era, has been secured in a house in the Nilüfer district of Bursa.

H.E., the son of A.E. who lives in the Kayapa neighborhood of the district, called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report that there was an artillery shell in his father's house.

Following the report, Counter-Terrorism units and bomb disposal experts were dispatched to the area.

The artillery shell, which was determined to be unexploded during the examinations, was removed from the scene in a controlled manner by the teams.

The 40-centimeter-long, 12-centimeter-diameter artillery shell, which is believed to date back to the World War I era, was taken into custody by bomb disposal experts.
