As long as we keep the internal front strong, evil forces will not reach their goals: Erdoğan emphasizes 'national unity'

Erdoğan made important statements during the October 29 Special Program.

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan emphasized national unity in his address, stating, "As long as we, as a nation, protect our unity and solidarity and keep the internal front strong, neither terrorist organizations nor the evil forces that feed and fatten them to unleash them upon us will be able to reach their goals."

Erdoğan's statements:

-I express my gratitude to our heroes who fight at the cost of their lives for the peace of our nation and the survival of our state, whether they are in uniform or, as in the case of TUSAŞ, without uniforms. As long as we, as a nation, protect our unity and solidarity and keep the internal front strong, neither terrorist organizations nor the evil forces that feed and fatten them to unleash them upon us will be able to reach their goals.

-I commemorate all our martyrs and veterans with mercy. Our state was founded as a regime that symbolizes a new beginning. Since its establishment, our Republic has had some shortcomings and weaknesses, but none of them are enough to overshadow the values that set an example for the whole world. Our Republic was not founded 101 years ago as a new state, but as a regime that is a symbol of a new beginning. Today, we are entering a period where we rise not on our ashes, but on the opportunities and determination we possess.

-A vast history full of glory, stretching from the Asian Hun State to the Göktürks, and from the Seljuks to the Ottomans, is one, it is whole, and it belongs to our nation. When we came to Anatolia, we embraced all the people here with justice and compassion and did not see them as separate. Our nation is not responsible for any of the painful events that took place at the beginning of the last century. Our neighbors of a thousand years paid the price for their own ambitions and mistakes. Our process of accepting every citizen as equal after the Republic was founded may have been a bit painful, but we succeeded in this as well. I believe that we should all turn our faces toward the Century of Turkey together.

-Uniting under the vision of the Century of Turkey has become of vital importance. Even the National Struggle alone is proof of what this people can do under difficult conditions. The invaders were on the strong side, but we were the ones who won the victory. We joined hands, we locked arms, we became one body. During the National Struggle, no one asked the friend they walked alongside whether they were Kurdish, Turkish, Alevi, or Sunni.

-The new path we embarked upon by establishing our Republic paved the way for oppressed nations to gain their independence over time. Just as we did a century ago, we are displaying a historic stance that will rekindle the hope of our brothers and sisters all over the world. No difficulty will be able to deter us from our path. We will not surrender to the games and dark scenarios played against our state and nation. On the contrary, we will fight in a manner worthy of ourselves without compromising our honorable and resolute stance. We will not stop working for the peace of our region and the prosperity of the oppressed. We will definitely realize the Century of Turkey. Come, let us build the Century of Turkey together.
