ASAL Research 'Turkey's most important problem' survey: 66.6 percent gave the same answer

ASAL Research conducted a new public opinion survey with 1,860 people over the age of 18.

In the survey, which was carried out between December 9-12 using the CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method, participants were asked the question, "In your opinion, what is Turkey's most important problem?"

According to the survey results, while 58.1 percent of the participants stated that Turkey's most important problem is the Economy/Cost of Living, unemployment stood at 4.4 percent and pensions at 4.1 percent.

Thus, the rate of those who chose the "economy" heading reached 66.6 percent. 

ECONOMIC CRISIS OVERSHADOWED EARTHQUAKE THREAT

Citizens struggling with the cost of living due to the economic crisis have even forgotten about the earthquake threat. The rate of those who see the earthquake as Turkey's most important problem was 1.3 percent.

• Refugees: 2.9%
• Education: 2.5%
• Security/Public Order: 2.1%
• Kurdish issue: 1.8%
• Loss of moral values: 1.5%
• Urban transformation/Earthquake: 1.3%
• Democracy: 1.2%
• Taxes: 1.2%
• Health: 0.7%
• Other: 2.0%
• All of them: 4.5%
• No opinion/No answer: 2.7%
