Aselsan becomes the first company to exceed 2 trillion lira in value

Aselsan, one of the leading companies in the defense industry, has broken a new record, becoming the first company to exceed a market value of 2 trillion lira.

Aselsan shares, which began trading at 230.20 lira at the start of the year, showed a steady rise in the following months. The firm, which made history last September as the first company to surpass a market value of 1 trillion lira, has now passed another milestone as of today. As Aselsan shares rose to 442 lira, the company's total market value exceeded 2 trillion lira, marking a first on Borsa Istanbul.

The increase in Aselsan shares since the beginning of the year has reached 91 percent, once again demonstrating the strength of investor interest in defense industry stocks.
